Delores was nominated for all of her leadership in different Community Service projects.
Delores worked on several community projects in 2022. She served with the UAMS Strike Out Stroke at Dickey Stephens Park in the summer to raise awareness on stroke prevention. She served as team captain to raise awareness about Huntington Disease at the Hope Walk and team captain at Parkinson Moving Day. Deloris served as team captain for Parkinson’s Revolution 2022 and captain of UAMS Walk for Cure 2022 to raise funds for cancer research. She has also helped with buying school supplies for Unit Based Council in the past, and with toy donations for the UAMS Head Start program at Christmas time.
Delores enjoys meeting new people and believes in teamwork. She has a heart for philanthropy and helping others. UAMS is such an important facility in the community of Arkansas for health care and health education and Delores often uses her Saturdays to help with these community organization projects and enjoys helping for important causes related to health care education, awareness, and fundraising. Delores truly supports the mission of UAMS in being the leader in healthcare in Arkansas and the nation.
