$7,500 Inpatient Floor RN Care Manager Sign-on Bonus

  • Three or more years of RN experience is required.
  • Care manager experience is not required.
  • Applicant must be hired into a full-time, RN care manager position.
  • Applicant is not a current UAMS employee.
  • If applicant was a previous UAMS employee, at least 180 days have passed between termination and rehire dates.
  • Sign-on bonus application and up to date resume are to be submitted to the current manager prior to the end of the 90-day probationary period.*

* Work commitment is discussed during interview.

$15,000 RN New Graduate Sign-on & Intent to Stay Bonus

  • Applicant must be a New Grad RN (less than one year experience as an RN) with an Arkansas nursing license.*
  • Applicant is not a current RN at UAMS.
  • Applicant has applied for a full-time (0.9 FTE or greater), New Grad Resident RN position in a UAMS “critical area” of full-time employment. “Critical area” is defined as 24/7 areas:
    • Inpatient units:
      • Medical/Surgical (F6, H6, F8, H8, F9, H9)
      • Oncology (E7, F7, H7)
  • Application is submitted prior to the end of 90-day probationary period.

$25,000 RN Sign-on Bonus

  • Applicants with a minimum of 24 months full-time RN in an acute care setting or comparable experience*
  • Experience in the past 24 months may include up to 12 months in a management position, but must include at least 12 months in a direct patient care role in an acute care setting or comparable experience*
  • Must be hired into a direct patient care RN position in a “Critical area” of full-time (0.9 FTE or greater) employment. “Critical area” is defined as 24/7 areas:
    • Inpatient units:
      • Med/Surg
      • Oncology
      • UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute
      • The Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital
    • Cancer Institute Infusion B
    • Cardiac Cath. Lab
    • Main Operating Room and Main PACU
    • The Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital’s Main Operating Room and Pre-op/PACU
  • Current UAMS employee (excluding temporary/PRN) and/or rehires within the past 180 days of most recent termination and re-hire date are not eligible.
  • If applicant previously had an approved RN Sign-On Bonus with UAMS, all terms were met or designated time frame of agreement has passed.
  • Application is submitted prior to the end of 90-day probationary period.

$10,000 LPN Sign-on Bonus

  • Applicants with a minimum of 12 months experience as an LPN*
  • Experience in the past 12 months may include up to six months in a management position, but must include at least six months in a direct patient care role*
  • Must be hired into a direct patient care LPN position in a “Critical area” of full time (0.9 FTE or greater) employment. “Critical area” is defined as 24/7 areas:
    • Inpatient Units:
      • Med/Surg
      • UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute
  • Current UAMS employees (excluding temporary/PRN) and/or rehires within the past 180 days of most recent termination and re-hire date are not eligible.
  • If applicant previously had an approved LPN Sign-On Bonus with UAMS, all terms were met or designated time frame of agreement has passed.
  • Application is submitted prior to the end of 90-day probationary period.

* Eligibility and work commitment are discussed during the interview.
