Lorie Hogue, RN, E4 – Medical/Neuro ICU
Please join the Center for Nursing Excellence in congratulating Lorie Hogue, RN, for being selected as the DAISY Award recipient for the month of December!
Lorie Hogue, RN, works on E4 – Medical/Neuro ICU and was nominated by a co-worker. The nomination below reflects how Lorie impacted their life in a very special way.
Nomination: Lorie is my charge nurse on the weekends. She goes above and beyond consistently to help the staff and nurses with anything and everything we may need. One particular weekend, we were very short staffed. We had no patient care techs., and most of us did not receive a lunch break and neither did Lorie. Amid this situation, Lorie never complained and never had a bad attitude. She came to the rescue by encouraging us, stocking our carts, helping in emergency situations, etc. I have 15 years of ICU experience and this day was overwhelming to me. I would not have been able to make it without Lori. Nurses are the backbone of this hospital and Lori much deserves the Daisy Award. Thank you, Great job, Lorie!
Thank you again UAMS for sharing this excellent nurse and experience with our family.
Great job, Lorie!
