About the Medical Oncology Clinic
The Medical Oncology Clinic sees patients with any cancer requiring chemotherapy or another form of infusion, including:
- Breast cancer
- Lung cancer
- Melanoma
- Gastrointestinal malignancies
- Leukemia
- Lymphoma
- Urology cancers
You will be provided with primary cancer treatment and continuous follow-up. Second opinions are available for both inpatient and outpatients.
The multidisciplinary approach to health care, which includes input from caring specialists in many different areas, is the standard for our clinics in the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Depending on your condition, you may be eligible to participate in research clinical trials, which offer new and innovative treatments not available elsewhere in Arkansas.
Hematology Oncology
Hematology oncology specialists treat blood-related diseases such as iron deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle cell disease, thalassemias, leukemias and lymphomas, as well as cancers of other organs. Learn more about our autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant programs.

Parking Information
Parking is available in Parking 3, a parking deck at the corner of South Cedar Street and West Capitol Avenue. Parking stubs for patients are validated in the clinic. For your convenience, park on Levels 2B, 3B, 4B or 5B.
Valet parking is available in front of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute for a fee.

Appointment Information
For new patients, please call 501-296-1200. For returning patients, call 501-686-8530 or use UAMS Health MyChart to schedule an appointment online.
We will talk with you about your needs and may request further information be sent to us from your other physicians.
Although UAMS Health does not require a physician referral, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider before requesting an appointment.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.
