What are mental health concerns?
Mental health concerns are when a person’s emotional, mental, and social wellbeing cause them distress or get in the way of them doing what they want and need to do in their life. Mental health concerns include specific disorders such as major depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
You Are Not Alone
Mental health concerns are nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of. If you or someone you care about has a mental health concern, you are not alone. In fact, nearly 30% of children and teens in Arkansas have a mental health diagnosis.
