Patient ratings are not available for this provider. Why not?

Why are there no ratings?

There is no publicly available rating for this medical professional for one of three reasons:

  • He or she does not see patients
  • He or she sees patients but has not yet received the minimum number of Patient Satisfaction Reviews. To be eligible for display, we require a minimum of 30 surveys. This ensures that the rating is statistically reliable and a true reflection of patient satisfaction.
  • He or she is a resident physician.

About Dr. Tewar

Clinical Biography

In 2021, Dr. Tewar joined the James L. Dennis Developmental Center as a developmental – behavioral pediatrician, where she sees children with concerns about developmental delay, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, complex ADHD and medication management related to complex ADHD, and children in foster care. Dr. Tewar completed her pediatric residency training at the Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at the Albany Medical Center in New York, followed by developmental – behavioral pediatrics fellowship training at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Tewar also holds a master’s degree in public health from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania and is very interested in population health as it pertains to children with developmental disabilities and children in foster care. Dr. Tewar obtained her medical degree at B. J Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. In addition to the James L. Dennis Developmental Center, Dr. Tewar sees children with complex congenital heart conditions in the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program and serves as the medical director for the UAMS Project for Adolescent and Child Evaluations (PACE) program that serves children in foster care.

Dr. Tewar works with children and families to identify their priorities with regard to child development and behavior. She feels the best way to provide care is giving tools to families, educating them and empowering them to partner with people (school, therapists, primary care team) to access the resources needed to optimize their child’s development. Nothing about us without us.
