Clinical Biography
Martha Michelle Estrada, M.D., has joined the Department of Surgery as an assistant professor in the Division of Transplant Surgery. Dr. Estrada received a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience with a minor in cultural anthropology. She received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Estrada completed a general surgery residency at the University of Texas McGovern School of Medicine in Houston, Texas, followed by a fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Martha M. Estrada is an associate professor in the UAMS Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation.
Dr. Estrada comes to UAMS from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where she was a transplant surgery specialist and also completed her abdominal transplant surgery fellowship. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Michigan, earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed her residency at the University of Texas McGovern School of Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Transplant Surgeons, Latino Surgical Society and the Americas Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association.
