About Leigh A. Wade
Clinical Biography
Leigh Wade holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Arkansas. She completed an undergraduate internship at the Tahlequah Indian Nation in Tahlequah, Okla., and graduate internships at Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice and Ozark Guidance Center, both in northwest Arkansas.
Ms. Wade has been a practicing social worker since 2000 and has been at UAMS-NW since January 2015. She previously worked at Ozark Guidance Center in Community Mental Health, at the UAMS STRIVE program in North Little Rock and at the White River Hospital in Batesville, Arkansas. Her professional interests include working with children and families and training interns.
Ms. Wade offers counseling including nutritional counseling to patients at the Family Medical Centers in Fayetteville and Springdlae.
