Mamie’s Poppy Party 2024 – A Remembrance Celebration

Wild Wood Park for the Arts – Little Rock, AR

Gather with other grieving parents and celebrate the life of your child! Live music, a memorial walk and lots of memorable ways to remember/celebrate! All proceeds benefit Mamie’s Poppy Plates.

Camp Healing Hearts

May 17-18
Starts at 5 p.m. on the 17th
Camp Aldersgate – Little Rock, AR

Methodist Family Health’s Kaleidoscope Grief Center is currently accepting applications to attend its free overnight grief camp, Camp Healing Hearts. Camp Healing Hearts is for Arkansas children ages 5 to 18 and their families who are grieving the death of a loved one. Utilizing both therapy and recreation, our camp offers children and families an opportunity to discover their own inner strength. Learn more about Camp Healing Hearts.

An adult caregiver is required to accompany the grieving child or children attending camp. Camp Healing Hearts is a FREE overnight camp at Camp Aldersgate that includes heart-to-heart time, swimming, fishing, crafts, games, campfires, s’mores and much more. It is best for children and families who have experienced a loss of 3-to-6 months or more. Only 100 spaces are available.
