About the Surgical Oncology Clinic
The doctors in our Surgical Oncology Clinic work with medical and radiation oncologists from the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and throughout the state to provide you with excellent, comprehensive cancer care.
Our clinic is directed by a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist and offers complete tumor care and advanced surgical techniques for local or metastatic disease.
Multidisciplinary health care, which incorporates input from caring specialists in many different areas, is the standard for all our clinics at the UAMS Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
Depending on your condition, you may be eligible to enroll in clinical research studies offering new and innovative cancer treatments not available elsewhere in Arkansas.
Parking Information
Parking is available in Parking 3, a parking deck at the corner of South Cedar Street and West Capitol Avenue. Parking stubs for patients are validated in the clinic. For your convenience, park on Levels 2B, 3B, 4B or 5B.
Valet parking is available in front of the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute for a fee.

- Exit the walkway on Level 2B of Parking 3 and you will be at the entrance to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.
- Enter the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and take Elevator D to the seventh floor or visit the Welcome Desk for assistance.

Although UAMS does not require a physician referral, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider before requesting an appointment.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with a list of any medications you’re taking, including over-the-counter medications. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.
For future appointments, please provide updated medical and insurance information.
