About Infectious Disease Clinic
UAMS Health is the state’s go-to resource for infectious disease information, diagnosis and treatment.
UAMS Health infectious diseases experts provide telephone consultations to Arkansas practitioners. Those calls yield the rapid identification of a wide range of infectious conditions, helping doctors inform and treat patients in all corners of the state.
The infectious diseases outpatient referral service has been a mainstay at UAMS Health for nearly a decade. Patients are seen and treated with the help of state-of-the-art clinical care and equipment and can be referred back to their personal physician.
