Skin resurfacing is a powerful technique to improve the quality, texture, and color of the facial skin. The skin of the face follows a predictable pattern of change with aging. The skin thins, discolorations emerge, and wrinkles form. Resurfacing techniques can help erase some of these changes by removing the top layer of the skin in a controlled fashion. This is most commonly achieved through chemical peels, laser treatments, or dermabrasion.
