Liposuction is the most common cosmetic surgical procedure performed in the United Stated. It involves the removal of fat from select areas of the body using specialized, thin cannulas. This is performed through small scars that can often be hidden in skin folds and under clothing. Liposuction is as much an art as a science, and a skilled surgeon can sculpt the body to significantly change and enhance contours and shape.
