A cataract is a cloudy area within the lens of the eye. Signs that you may have cataracts can include symptoms of decreased night vision, halos around lights, discolored vision, or sensitivity to glare. Currently, there is no medical treatment to reverse or prevent the development of cataracts. After they form, cataract surgery to remove cataracts from your eyes can help you see clearly again.
