About Dr. Hassan
Clinical Biography
Dr. Yusuf Hassan graduated from the King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, in December 1987. After some training in Pakistan, he completed an internship and residency program in the United Kingdom in February 1994, followed by a chief residency in 1995.
Dr. Hassan continued his training and moved to Houston, Texas, in July 1995, where he completed residency and another chief residency.Ā He practiced in Dallas at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Veterans Affair North Texas Healthcare System from October 2000 to May 2006. Dr. Hassan then completed two additional fellowships and practiced in Arizona and Pakistan. Dr. Hassan joined UAMS in 2020.

They're all very nice up there. The desk people are very nice. The nurses, every nurse I've ever had is very nice. I love my doctor. He is so cool. I really like him a lot. I have cancer besides having heart problems. But anyway, everything's fine. I love coming up there. Like I said, I love my doctor. He's very, very nice. And everybody's nice to me up there. And that's all I can say.

Yes, mainly what I have to say is Dr. Hassan listens to you, listening is very important. He explains things to you, that's very important. And he treats you like you have a brain. I appreciate that because I think I do and I've experienced in other places that I haven't been treated that way. I think he's a gentleman and a scholar. I really like him and the appointment with him was fairly pleasurable. Thank you so much. Bye. Bye.

Visit would have been more informative if the heart monitor information had been available to cover during the meeting. A follow-up meeting I have to be scheduled once the information has been received by UAMS.

After about 3 minutes I got up and left the appointment. I did not feel comfortable with this physician. I'm sure she is an excellent doctor and will someday be a cardiologist.

I really like Dr.Hassan. He has seen me twice now and very personal asking me about my problems and listening to me and not rushing me out the door.

I would say that Dr. Hassan is top grade. My only complaint would be the hospital was too cold.

I had a great experience at UAMS. I actually felt cared about and concerned for. Doctor Hassan and his staff were absolutely amazing. I would recommend them too all my family and friends
