Academic Biography
William “Scott” Sosebee, M.D., is associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Sosebee earned his medical degree and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the UAMS. Dr. Sosebee worked in private practice in Russellville for 22 years before joining UAMS. Dr. Sosebee is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and he is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Sosbee is a great doctor. He lets me make my own decisions about my care while providing me the information I need to make good decisions. He listens to and cares about my problems and during the exam told me everything he was going to do before he did it. He told me what the process for getting approved for the procedure I want will be so that I knew what steps I needed to take next instead of feeling like I'm going in blind.

The doctor actually asked me several times if I was okay with getting another biopsy done and explained everything to me to make sure I still understood everything from my previous times. I would definitely recommend him and don't want to switch doctors unless I absolutely had to

The doctor was excellent doctor. He explained everything and listened to me and my concerns and answered all the questions I had at the time. He also did an awesome job at keeping me at ease during a biopsy which I completely appreciate. The pa was also very nice
