Yes, I had blood work done and I had some less than favorable results with my urine and it's been almost a week since I put in a letter asking for feedback on that. I have not received feedback from Dr. Kota on my urine. I also thought she would take blood test of my ANA count and that was not a blood test that was taken.

She asked all the questions I had already filled out on my registration. She did no blood work at all to see what I might have in my results that didn't show up in the 5 minute exam she gave me. I drove 2 hours to see her and was very disappointed. I will never recommend her.

The doctor i saw was very dismissive and basically said if I get a lupus diagnosis then I can come see her. She didn't even know why I was there after my PCP sent her everything. She didn't really want to hear what I had to say. I thought a rheumatologist was the one to diagnose you with an autoimmune disease. Not this one she wants you to already have a diagnosis before you see her. Her name is Dr.Kota. She did not take my symptoms seriously. I will not be back at UAMS. I also will never see her again.

I really enjoyed talking with Dr. Kota and I felt like she was a huge improvement and a welcome new addition. I was not as happy with the previous doctor, rheumatologist I had seen at the clinic there, so but I thought Dr. Kota was a very competent doctor and also had a very good bedside manner and I was happy to see that change. So, thank you.

Dr. Kota and her nurses staff made me feel very welcome. She was a very good listener. She was good at communicating the answers to all of the questions that I had and explaining everything in detail to me.
