Clinical Biography
Sheena Colclough, MNSc, CNP, AG-ACNP-BC, is an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology. Sheena joined the division in 2016. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Sheena worked as a critical care Registered Nurse in the Internal Medicine ICU at UAMS for 7 years. She received an Associate of Science in May 2008 from Southern Arkansas University, Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010, and a Masterās of Nursing Science from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2014. She is certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.

The doctor's nurse was very helpful and informative, especially on my medications. However, the doctor, there were, I had updated, I had updated ALT and AST scores, and she did not have the updated scores, and I wish she would have looked at what I had instead of what was on her computer, and she needed an updated MELD score and did not even draw blood to see what my current MELD score was.

This had no reason to be an in person visit. <5 min with the APRN and no tests were performed, just a little bit of talk. Had it been a video conference I would not have had to take a day off from work and spend $40 in gas unnecessarily.
