About Dr. Morell
Clinical Biography
Sean Morell, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic hand surgeon at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Using state-of-the-art treatments and procedures, he provides nonsurgical and surgical treatments for a wide variety of conditions of and injuries to the hand, wrist and elbow.
Dr. Morell obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery, also at UAMS, where he received a number of honors including the Carl L. Nelson, M.D., Resident Leadership Award. He continued his training with an orthopaedic hand surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado-Denver.
Additionally, Dr. Morell is subspecialty-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand. This certification is for Board-Certified orthopaedic surgeons who have demonstrated qualifications in hand surgery beyond those expected of other orthopaedic surgeons by virtue of additional training and a practice characterized by volume and diversity of cases in hand surgery.
Dr. Morell’s clinical interests are in hand, wrist and elbow orthopedic surgery, and he has made several presentations both locally and nationally.
