About Dr. Joshi
Clinical Biography
Dr. Joshi treats patients with pediatric rheumatologic disorders including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, Juvenile Dermatomyositis, Morphea/Scleroderma, Vasculitis (e.g. GPA, MPA, EGPA, IgA vasculitis), Periodic Fever Syndromes, and Inflammatory Bone Diseases. Additionally, he has clinical experience in Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome and Hypermobility Syndromes and sees these patients at ACH pain clinic once a week.

Academic Biography
Dr. Joshi received his medical degree in 2013 from Armed Forces Medical College, India and completed a Residency in Pediatrics at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn in 2017. He completed his Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship training at Tufts Childrenās Hospital, Boston in 2020. He also received a Masterās in Science in Clinical Research at Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute the same year. He joined the faculty of UAMS in 2020.

Dr. Joshi's Research
His research focuses on clinical investigation of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis and Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome. His Masterās thesis was titled āImmersive Virtual Reality for Management of Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome in Adolescents: A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trialā. Dr. Joshi is a member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA). He is also interested in the education of residents and medical students at UAMS.
