About Dr. Mayo
Clinical Biography
Russell Mayo, M.D., attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and then went to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for medical school.
He was board certified in Family Medicine in 1986 and in Hospice & Palliative Medicine in 2012. He came to UAMS Family Medical Center – Texarkana in 1992.
He and his wife, Jana, have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys running marathons, spending time with his family and traveling.
