About Dr. Mayo
Clinical Biography
Russell Mayo, M.D., attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and then went to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for medical school.
He was board certified in Family Medicine in 1986 and in Hospice & Palliative Medicine in 2012. He came to UAMS Family Medical Center – Texarkana in 1992.
He and his wife, Jana, have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys running marathons, spending time with his family and traveling.

Dr.[NAME] was fantastic. She addressed all our concerns. Dr.Mayo spent about 2 mins in the room. He did not examine the children.

My Dr Mayo wouldn't trade him for the world am very comfortable with him I leave his office feeling good he will take time to talk to me and a gentleman and a scorler been with him a total od 10 yrs alltogether.
