About Dr. Martin
Clinical Biography
Dr. Robert D. Martin specializes in foot and ankle surgery, using advanced techniques and minimally invasive procedures to repair damage, restore movement and alleviate pain.
Dr. Martin is a fellow member of both the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He spent five years completing his internship and residency in Arkansas before traveling to Florida for specialized training in foot and ankle surgery. In addition to his extensive professional studies and accomplishments, Dr. Martin has served as a care provider and Spanish translator in El Salvador and Honduras.
Like many of our patients, Dr. Martin stays active with competitive sports and outdoor recreation, including hunting, fishing, boating, running, snow skiing and tennis. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

Omg!! Dr. Martin was very professional and courteous! I took my time to research the best Orthopedic specialist for my ankle and I am so happy I did! He smiled the entire time and showed me so much compassion for my problem. He came in and immediately informed me of what my problem was and how to correct it. I have several events going on this year and he was ok with me scheduling my surgery for a time that works with my schedule. He loves what he does and I can see it! He told me that his staff would be in and give me details of what was next and everyone who came in was professional and informative This clinic is awesome and he has a great team of people working with him! I have told EVERYONE about my experience and will definitely refer patients to him. Thank you Dr. Martin! I'm glad I made the right choice
