About Rebekka L. Amick
Clinical Biography
Rebekka L. Amick is an adult-gerontology clinical nurse specialist and adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy Nurse Credentialing Center, and licensed by the state of Arkansas to provide comprehensive health care to adult patients. She joined the UAMS Department of Internal Medicine in 2016.
As an advanced practice nurse, she works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care providers to care for patients with a variety of obesity and diabetic-related diagnosis.
Rebekka has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long-lasting and trusting relationship with patients and their families. She provides comprehensive evaluation of patients by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs. Her goal is to enhance a positive healing experience and confidence to those in need.
