Dr. Goodwin's Academic Background
Academic Biography
Dr. Rachael Goodwin grew up in the rice and duck capital of the world, Stuttgart, AR. After graduating as valedictorian, she attended the University of Central Arkansas. She received a major in Biology / Pre-Med and as a member of the Norbert O. Schedler Honors College, gained minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. She then moved to Little Rock to attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for medical school. She attended family medicine residency at UAMS Northeast – Jonesboro, where she was co-chief resident her third year. When determining how she wanted to give back to the State of Arkansas, she decided to sign on as faculty at UAMS North Central – Batesville to help teach and mentor Arkansas’ future family medicine physicians.
Dr. Goodwin spends her free time with her husband, David, and son, Henry. They are often traveling across the country trying new foods, watching the local sports teams, and adding to their state capital count.

I felt like I was blown off. When I spoke, she talked over me saying "yeah yeah yeah I know that". She told me she had put in a referral for physical therapy but would put it in again. I called the physical therapist and was told no referral was ever given. Horrible bed side manner. She acted like she had better things to do and wanted to rush out
