About Dr. Saccente
Clinical Biography
Dr. Saccente has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of infectious diseases, with specific interest in HIV, systemic fungal infections, and sexually transmitted infections.Ā Dr. Saccente joined the UAMS faculty in 1996 after completing internal medicine residency and a 3-year infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At UAMS, he was promoted to the rank of Professor of Medicine in 2010. He is the Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency.

my experience with my doctor, has been most definitely a good experience for me, for about 21 or 22 years. My doctor is part of my family. He explains everything that I need to know, and not worry about. My doctor is awesome.

The front desk needs a lot of training in working patients. The professionalism is horrible and we are treated poorly. The tone used during interaction and just getting general information is very derogatory in their responses. After doctor's visit, check signage is not clear enough. I stopped on the opposite where I check in and the lady was very nasty in directing to the check out. Unacceptable for individuals working with the public. Have you all considered having mystery patients strictly designed to help in improving the overall patient experience?

The nurse was not a good listener. I asked her to redo my Blood Pressure test because she was talking to me while taking it therefore it was high.
