Academic Biography
Megan Shirey, O.D., FAAO is a native of Magnolia, Arkansas.
She attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology prior to pursuing her Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She completed her residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, Arkansas Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association.
