Kapil Yadav M.D.Ā joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in January of 2024. He is a renowned experienced Interventional Cardiologist.Ā Ā He is driven by a commitment to manage all cardiovascular conditions using minimally invasive techniques along with the highest standards or service and technical excellence.
Dr Yadav joined UAMS from a busy practice at Baptist Health in North Little Rock.Ā He was brought here with the goal to establish and grow an endovascular and vascular medicine program. He has board certifications in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear medicine and vascular RPVI (Registered Physician Vascular Interpretation).

My heart doctor Kapil Yada talked to me about my prior heart experiences. He explained what my symptoms meant and what to do, and not do, should they happen again. That was a great comfort to me!

Dr Yadav is wonderful - so incredibly intelligent - yet also kind - engaging and thorough -I know he is swamped but he never conveys that !! He is just the best -- [PROVIDER NAME] - APRN came to talk to me ahead of Doc - she is a marvel and sooo intelligent and kind - allayed my intense anxiety that day after my husband and I BOTH were admitted to UAMS in that week - ( mine BP related his Cardiac) - she really helped me calm down and is very informative and empathetic as a HCP - a natural at the art and science of people !! Please thank these 2 fine folks! UAMS is lucky to have them !

I was in the office for about 15/20 mins I think. But most of that time was with the nurse. He came in while she was do the ekg. He was nice enough and told me everything looked great. I have a good stronge heart. But they didn't like to take chances with " these sweet old ladies like myself!) That was insulting in itself. I'm 57 not old. Second he really didn't know anything about me. I was send to him because I had questionable heart test. He didn't seem to be aware of it and if he was he never mentioned a thing about it. Here's the bottom line you all push test on people knowing the insurance won't cover a good portion. Please don't insult anyone's intelligence by denying it. We ( patients) never really spend time with these doctors. Most don't even take the time to make themselves aware of our cases. They come in with a standard response.we could get the same test order if necessary. See a specialist only leads to more test. They all have those tablets then put them to good use.
