About Dr. Caceres
Clinical Biography
Jose Diego Caceres, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. After obtaining his medical degree at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (Unphu), Dominican Republic, Dr. Caceres completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. He then completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, followed by an Intervention Pulmonary Fellowship at UAMS. He joined UAMS faculty in July 2019.
