About Dr. Boyette
Clinical Biography
Dr. Jennings Boyette is one of only a handful of fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeons in Arkansas. He is double board-certified in both facial plastic surgery and head and neck surgery. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck. Dr. Boyette is experienced in rebuilding all parts of the face. This includes treating patients with traumatic injuries, cancer deformities and birth deformities.
Dr. Boyette is striving to expand what is possible surgically and non-surgically to reverse facial deformities and to reverse the effects of aging on our faces. He has published scientific papers and continues to conduct research in order to help his patients. His most recent investigations involve the use of stem cells in order to improve skin survival during complex reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Boyette lectures at the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery’s national meeting, where he has given courses to other surgeons on rhinoplasty surgery in the aging patient and on surgery to reconstruct ear deformities. He has published numerous textbook chapters including ones on Ethnic Rhinoplasty and traumatic facial injuries in children. He graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas, where he received a Sturgis Fellowship. He completed medical school at UAMS, where he went on to train in Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery under Dr. James Suen. He then completed his fellowship in facial plastic surgery with Dr. Frederick Stucker in Louisiana.

I had never had occasion to be at UAMS I was extremely impressed with the facility with the people and with the prompt attention that I got while I was there it did not take long for me to see someone get the information I needed and then be gone I find that commendable

Dr. [NAME] is leaving UAMS. She decided she would send me to Dr. Boyette. I agreed because I didn't know his specialty. When I arrived at my appointment, Dr. Boyette asked me why I was there to see him, and ask did I know why Dr. [NAME] sent me there. It was a waste of his time and mine. Not to mention the copay that I think should be credited back.

Dr. Boyette was friendly and personable. He used the CT scan of my injured area in his discussion of my injury and this was very helpful to me for understanding what occurred and what I can expect going forward. I am grateful that he was able to review my injury and give me reassurance that the recovery from this injury is on a normal healing trajectory. I will be quick to recommend him to anyone who has a facial injury.

Took six weeks to get an appointment (although the referring physician may have been part of the problem) then the appointment was an additional month away.

I can't find any way that this could have been improved upon. It was among the top care that I have ever received. He was compassionate. He was attentive. He made me feel listened to. He knew my history in and out and he made excellent recommendations that I have since followed. His nurses and his assistants were excellent. They were compassionate when listening to my story to set up my appointment and the whole office ran smoothly. Thank you.
