The doctor told me, in regards to my daughter's canker sore on the inside of her upper lip, to put a medication on it that is never supposed to go on any mucosal area. This could have really hurt her. He also told me to put on Vaseline on her lips. Which I learned can, also, really hurt her because you aren't supposed to ingest it. She is 10 with sensory issues. She would have licked off both products instantly.
