About Dr. Ladha
Clinical Biography
Dr. Ladha is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Ladha specializes in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy, and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Ladha graduated from Dr. V. M. Government Medical College, Solapur, India in 2011. He then obtained a Master’s in Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. After this, he completed Preliminary Internal Medicine followed by Neurology Residency Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship followed by Epilepsy fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Clinical Focus
Dr. Ladha’s expertise and clinical interests include comprehensive management of all types of epilepsy in adults, presurgical evaluation and invasive EEG monitoring for patients with medically refractory epilepsy, managing neuromodulation devices (VNS/RNS/DBS), and video EEG monitoring.
Dr. Ladha sees patients at our UAMS Health Epilepsy and Neurology Clinic at the Freeway Medical Tower on the 6th floor.

I was disappointed at the lack interest. He reaffirmed what the Mayo Clinic said over a year ago even though it had worsened substantially. He said to just continue CBT. It would have been helpful to have had a recommendation of someone to see with possible experience (or at least interest in) with my diagnosis. No physician is walking with me in the journey with this lesser known diagnosis. It's very frustrating, especially as a nurse. I was hopeful for more interest and help but left disappointed. I know UAMS excels at many things, but they didn't in my case.

The Doctor was extremely nice. We both liked him a lot!! I will give another update at the next visit. I am praying to God he takes my Sons illness seriously. I hope he understands how sick he is, not Psychiatrist sick but Neurology, blood,organ? Sick, my Son needs bad help. I hope whoever reads this will help my only Son. Last year he was a regular young man enjoying out to eat,movies friends. Ten Months later he can't feed himself. So weak he can barely get out of his recliner. I pray Doctor Ladha has the skills to see and understand how serious my Sons illness really is. I mentioned good on explanation because I do not believe it is a Psychological problem because he already has a Psychiatrist. Over all Dr. Ladha was professional, made us feel comfortable, answered all questions and listened to us. Really a nice Doctor.

Dr Ladha was very kind, compassionate, and professional. Typically, my daughter is unable to follow verbal commands or requests. Dr Lotto was able to work around that during his assessment.
