Clinical Biography
Emily Wright, M.N.Sc., APRN, is board-certified by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Born and raised in central Arkansas, Emily earned her bachelor’s in nursing from UAMS in 2014. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse in general surgery/liver and kidney transplant for six years. In 2019, Emily was awarded her master’s degree from UAMS in adult-gerontology primary care. Currently, Emily sees adult patients in the general urology clinic. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and puppy.

I was very comfortable with the staff and the professionals. They treated me with dignity and respect. They listened to everything that I had to say. They offered me all the information that I thought was available to make my decision. And that's what I am concerned with, always being able to make the decision what's best for me. And I thank them for that.

I was very pleased with the nurse practitioner. She was very knowledgeable. We had a good conversation, with questions and answers, and came up with a plan to treat my condition. She prescribed two meds and explained what each one should do. I left my appointment feeling confident I would see positive results.
