Dr Carter gave me the pain blocker injections,I started getting a slight headache before I got home .by bedtime I had a severe headache and another the next night. The medication she gave me didn't seem to help.I need something that will give me some relief.

Had to wait too long for my appointment that my oncologist's nurse scheduled for me. The wait time for an appt was really a problem cause my medicine from my PCP had almost stopped working. I think this problem needs to be solved for these kind of patients for an out patient clinic or specialist. When you need treatment a patient shouldn't have to wait up to and over a 3 months time. You need to be seen on a timely basis at UAMS. This is a problem with most of my family and friends. To be seen by a doctor in the ER has the same problem with seeing patients. that space needs a much larger space for these really sick and dying patients with a much larger staff of doctors and nurses. I feel like this information should be handled by management and staff of UAMS.

Yes, I would like to say that I did not have any long-term conversations with the nurse or see them talk to doctors, so that's why I was hesitant to what question, I mean, how to answer that question because I didn't even see that the doctor or the nurse speak to each other. But overall, my visits always are nice and pleasant at UAMS. Thank you.
