Arpit Patel, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. He practices at the Rahling Road Clinic. Dr. Patel received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in 2011. He completed his residency in family medicine at JFK Medical Center in Edison, N.J., in 2015.
Dr. Patel has practiced in Arkansas for the past four years, serving in rural and underserved areas and as an urgent care physician. He is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Arkansas Medical Society and the American Board of Family Medicine. I had a positive first visit with Dr. Patel. He spent a good amount of time with me, listened to several ongoing health concerns, and worked with me on getting care restarted after I had been without consistent medical care for a while. There was some delay and frustration afterward getting a requested medication change handled, but it was ultimately corrected and the new prescription was sent to my pharmacy. I appreciate that he followed through. Overall, I feel like we have a good foundation to work from and I'm hopeful about continuing care with him.
