About Dr. Ramdon

Clinical Biography

Andre Ramdon, M.D. is an Associate Professor in the UAMS Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery.  He is a fellowship-trained and board certified vascular surgeon that sees patients in both the UAMS and Baptist Health vascular and endovascular surgery clinics.  Dr. Ramdon has a special interest in lower limb preservation and a vast knowledge base in the most advanced techniques to save limbs affected by artherosclerotic occlusive disease.

Academic Biography

Dr. Andre Ramdon is an associate professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery, Department of Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  He comes from the Albany Medical Center’s Division of Vascular Surgery in New York.  Dr. Ramdon is a native of Jamaica where he completed his medical degree at the University of West Indies at Mona, Jamaica.  He also spent time as a resident in orthopedics, general surgery, and emergency medicine in his native country.  He then attended the University of Pennsylvania as a general surgery resident before continuing to the Albany Medical College where he completed his vascular surgery fellowship in 2018.  Dr. Ramdon is board-certified in General Surgery as well as Vascular Surgery.  He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Society of Vascular Surgeons, and the Medical Council of Jamaica to name a few.
