About Dr. Shaw
Clinical Biography
Allison Shaw-Devine, M.D., is an assistant professor in the College of Medicine’s Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Shaw-Devine has an extensive background at UAMS, where she graduated medical school in 1995 and completed an Internal Medicine residency, including her last year as chief resident, in 1999. She also was a Fellow of Cardiovascular Diseases at UAMS from 1999 to 2002.
She was previously in private practice at Arkansas Cardiology, P.A., and most recently had served as medical director and solo practioner at Arkansas Cardiac Care, P.C. since 2005.
Dr. Shaw-Devine is a board member and former president of the American Heart Association’s central Arkansas affiliate and has served as the organization’s co-chair of the Go Red for Women drive.
