About Dr. White
Clinical Biography
Dr. White is an Associate Professor for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a native Arkansan who earned her medical degree from UAMS in 2013. She completed her residency training in OBGYN from the University Of Missouri- Kansas City in 2017. She is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. In 2015 and 2016 Dr. White was awarded the Truman Medical Center Emergency Department Consultant of the Year. She was also awarded the Department of OB GYN Resident Teaching Award in 2015. Dr. White enjoys all areas of women’s health and is trained to perform Robotic surgery.

My GYN doctor is exceptional and excellent. She is knowledgeable and researched answers to my question about newest treatments for bone density. She does gentle exams. She explains things in ways I can understand. She is a good listener.

I felt as if Dr. White was not really hearing my concerns/worries and reasonings for wanting this surgery. I felt as if she gave more of a personal opinion of her own and not necessarily a professional opinion.

I have been having an issue for 4 years that was deemed to be nothing from other providers. It took less than 30 minutes for the team at UAMS to listen to me, believe me, and have clear hypotheses of what was going on. Genuinely, I can't sing enough praises for how kind and understanding everyone in the room was. Women's health concerns are really often looked over and missed, and this just was not the case here. I felt so seen and hopeful.

The procedure was disappointing ..the injections didn't go well. The Dr did not do the procedure but was in the room. The first injection she had a hard time getting the med to go in and the second injection (location) the med just all ran out and did not go in. The one giving the injectionsInitially accidentally pricked me in the inner thigh, didn't apologize, but the disturbing part was the student intern snickeredI didn't say anything but whole appt was a little upsetting. The injections did not help my issue at allin fact, have worsenedI have not reached out to anyone and have return appt..but most likely will not be getting the next injections after my experience. I'm not sure yet what I will do now.
