Dr. A. Murat Aydin’s clinical practice focuses on the surgical and multidisciplinary management of urologic cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, testis and penile cancers.

Academic Biography
Dr. A. Murat Aydin is a urologic oncologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Urology at the UAMS College of Medicine.
Dr. Aydin, a native of Turkey, received outstanding success scholarship after high school for being ranked among the nation’s top 100 students, and earned his medical degree with an honors distinction at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He completed his urology residency at the same university, and became a fellow of European Board of Urology (FEBU). He went on to complete a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO)-accredited fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Tampa, Florida, where he specialized in the management of urologic malignancies using both complex as well as minimally-invasive surgery.

Dr. Aydin's Research
Dr. A. Murat Aydin’s main research interests are cancer biomarkers and immunotherapy with a focus on adoptive cell immunotherapy strategies. He is the principal author or co-author in many prestigious peer-reviewed publications such as Nature Reviews Urology, Journal of Urology, and Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations. He is a member of Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO), American Urological Association (AUA), and European Association of Urology (EAU).
