Condition: Aging Face

The face ages in a predictable manner. Skin and fat descend with gravity, and skin quality, tone, and texture change. There are a variety of treatments available to help restore a youthful appearance to the face. The foundation is a good, effective skin care regimen. This is followed by rejuvenating treatments such as microneedling, chemical peels, lasers, and dermabrasion. To improve contour, surgery must be performed to tighten the skin and remove wrinkles, elevate descended tissues, remove unwanted fat and add fat back to areas that need volume. Common surgeries performed include brow lift, blepharoplasty, facelift, and neck lift.
