Welcome. I’m Dr. Fen Xia, chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at UAMS. Thank you for joining us on this tour of our state-of-the-art radiation oncology clinic. We hope you enjoy this remarkable facility.

Adam R. Wolfe, M.D.:
We offer a robust program for all forms of gynecological brachytherapy program, including interstitial treatment. We are committed to providing our patients with access to cutting-edge investigator-initiated clinical trials, as well as National Cancer Institute-sponsored cooperative group clinical trials. Utilizing the team approach, we continue to focus not only on clinical trials but also on translational cancer research to further our aim of ending cancer. We work collaboratively with a robust multidisciplinary team and we pride ourselves on caring for the whole patient, including providing access to services such as concierge social workers, dietitians, speech-swallowing pathologists and geneticists.
Zhong Su, Ph.D.:
We provide stereotactic radiation therapy using linear accelerator-based systems such as Edge, motion management with SDX, as well as adaptive radiation treatment with Ethos. Here at the Radiation Oncology Department at UAMS, we offer the most advanced form of proton therapy in the world: pencil beam scanning proton therapy. We are the leading referral center for pediatric radiation treatments in the state.
Anam Z. Kesaria, M.D.:
As the largest educational institute in the state, we take our philosophy to train the next generation of leaders seriously. Our department has a number of educational programs led by our outstanding faculty, including medical student rotations; medical residency; radiation oncology and transitional year; a physics residency; medical oncology fellowship rotation; and a surgical residency rotation. We are proud to be part of the Department of Radiation Oncology team at UAMS, where we provide hope to patients and families during the most stressful times of their lives and are inspired daily by our patients and driven by a passion for what we do.
